Bishkek, Oct. 31, 2022. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov sent a telegram of condolences to Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi in connection Sadyr Zhaparov expresses condolences to Indian PM in connection with tragedy in Gujarat with the death of people as a result of the collapse of the bridge in the state of Gujarat, India.

“I am deeply saddened by the news of the loss of life due to the collapse of the suspension bridge in Morbi, Gujarat, India.

On behalf of the entire Kyrgyz people and on my own behalf, I offer my deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who died as a result of the tragic accident.

I wish a speedy recovery to the affected citizens,” the telegram of the head of state says.

On October 30 in the Indian state of Gujarat, at least 120 people were killed when a suspension bridge collapsed.

The Morbi Suspension Footbridge in the Indian state of Gujarat is considered a historical and engineering monument of the 19th century. In March of this year, the bridge was closed for repairs. It was reopened to the public just four days ago on October 26th.
