Sadyr Zhaparov flies to Uzbekistan

Bishkek, Nov. 8, 2023 / Kabar /. /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov left for Uzbekistan to participate in the regular 16th Summit of the Heads of State of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

At the Summit, the leaders of the countries will discuss current issues on the Organization’s agenda, including the consistent and phased integration of the states of the region into the global system of economic relations by establishing mutually beneficial intra-regional economic cooperation and mutual assistance in various aspects of socio-cultural, scientific and technical development.

The event will be attended by the heads of member states of the Organization - Azerbaijan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, as well as heads of government - Kazakhstan, Pakistan.

The official delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic consists of:

- First Lady Aigul Zhaparova;

- Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev;

- Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev;

- Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Musa Dzhamanbaev;

- Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Iran, permanent representative of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Economic Cooperation Organization Turdakun Sydykov;

- Minister of Education and Science Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva;

- Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Altynbek Maksutov;

- Minister of Transport and Communications Tilek Tekebaev;

- Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev;

- President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Temir Sariev.
