Bishkek, May 5, 2023. /Kabar/. Freedom of speech and the protection of human rights are our top priority, President Sadyr Zhaparov told speaking at a solemn event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the same time, as the head of state noted, such principles as not to act contrary to the interests of the state, not to disseminate false information, not to slander anyone, not to harm anyone's reputation should be observed.
“Every citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic should know well the spirit and meaning of the Constitution of the country. We will respect our country, our Motherland, the values of the Kyrgyz people only when we respect the Constitution, abide by its rules, then we understand its essence. Only then will we be able to achieve the development of the state, social harmony, peace and tranquility.
Our main task is to ensure that all state bodies, officials and citizens comply with constitutional norms and principles. The constitution should be the main document of direct action and influence,” Zhaparov said.
