Bishkek, May 13, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held today a telephone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.
The heads of states warmly congratulated each other on the Orozo-Ait holiday, wishing the peoples of the two countries peace, prosperity and well-being.
At the same time, a number of topical areas of Kyrgyz-Kazakh bilateral and regional cooperation were discussed, including the latest events that took place at the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border in Batken Oblast.
Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for his attention to the situation, words of condolence and support, as well as humanitarian assistance for residents of border villages Batken.
The sides reaffirmed their mutual readiness to build up joint cooperation across the entire spectrum of the joint agenda of mutual interest.
