Bishkek, Feb. 21, 2024. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov today, as part of a working visit to the Russian Federation, held negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the city of Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan).
Welcoming Sadyr Zhaparov, Vladimir Putin noted that relations between the two countries are developing successfully in all areas in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. The President of Russia thanked Sadyr Zhaparov for his attention to the development of the Russian language in Kyrgyzstan.
In turn, President Sadyr Zhaparov, thanking for the hospitality, wished the Russian side a successful holding of the “Games of the Future” tournament. He emphasized the uniqueness of this multi-sport tournament and its potential to win the hearts of fans of this sport around the world.
Noting the high dynamics of cooperation between the two countries after Vladimir Putin’s official visit to Kyrgyzstan in October 2023, Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude to Russia for its constant assistance and support.
During the conversation, the president of Kyrgyzstan invited the Russian government delegation to take part in ceremonial events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region at the state level, which will be held in the fall of 2024 in Kyrgyzstan.
In conclusion, the parties confirmed their mutual commitment to deepening Kyrgyz-Russian relations.
