Bishkek, Sept. 22, 2022. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held a working meeting on the current situation in the country’s Batken Oblast, with the participation of the leadership and members of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of law enforcement agencies, the Secretary of the Security Council.
At the meeting, the information was heard on ensuring border security and restoring the infrastructure of the region, the press service of the head of state reported.
The president gave a number of specific instructions, primarily regarding the provision of all necessary assistance to the evacuated residents of the border areas, the restoration of damaged residential buildings and the construction of new houses on the site of those completely destroyed as soon as possible before the onset of cold weather, the speedy restoration of social and civil infrastructure.
According to data of the Emergency Situations Ministry, at the moment, the number of damaged houses is 432. In addition, 285 outbuildings, 6 kindergartens, 6 schools, 2 medical and obstetric stations, 9 administrative buildings and 26 cars.
