Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan is always ready to cooperate with Russia, President Sadyr Zhaparov told during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The meeting of the heads of state took place within the framework of Zhaparov's visit to Russia
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that his first foreign visit as head of state proves the high level of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
“We intend to continue strengthening strategic partnership and allied relations,” Zhaparov said.
He expressed gratitude to Putin for his personal support in the difficult political period in the country and assured that Kyrgyzstan will continue to comply with all agreements previously reached with Russia.
“We intend to further deepen our Eurasian integration within the EAEU, CIS, CSTO and SCO. This is a priority of the country's foreign policy,” the Kyrgyz president said.
In addition, Zhaparov emphasized the effectiveness and safety of the Russian vaccine, confirmed by the international community, and expressed hope for an early start of the vaccination campaign in Kyrgyzstan.
In conclusion, Sadyr Zhaparov invited Vladimir Putin to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
