Bishkek, May 22, 2024. / Kabar/. Today, May 22, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Kyrgyz Republic to personally express sympathy to the Iranian people.
The head of state met with Iranian Ambassador Gholamhossein Yadegari.
Sadyr Zhaparov left an entry in the Book of Condolences, where on behalf of the people of Kyrgyzstan and on his own behalf he expressed deep condolences to the Iranian people in connection with the tragic helicopter crash that killed President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi, as well as several other high-ranking officials.
He noted that Ebrahim Raisi was a loyal son of his country, who devoted his life to serving his homeland.
At the same time, Sadyr Zhaparov noted Ebrahim Raisi's personal contribution to strengthening friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
President Sadyr Zhaparov also laid flowers in memory of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdullahian and other persons accompanying them who died in the helicopter crash.
