Bishkek, March 2, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held a meeting with Chairman of the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament Nurlan Nigmatulin.
An exchange of views on intensifying interstate relations, including at the level of the parliaments of the two countries, took place.
Chairman Nigmatulin noted Sadyr Zhaparov's state visit takes place at a special time - on the 30th anniversary of independence of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.
Nurlan Nigmatulin added Kyrgyzstan is a key partner of Kazakhstan in the region.
He emphasized the republix remains committed to the development of traditionally fraternal relations with the Kyrgyz people and intends to continue to actively expand and deepen bilateral cooperation and partnership.
The chairman wished the Kyrgyz president success in carrying out political reforms in the country aimed at improving the well-being of the citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
In turn, Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated the brotherly people of Kazakhstan on the successful conduct of parliamentary elections, calling this event one of the most important in the domestic politics of the country.
At the end of the meeting, Nurlan Nigmatulin gave a brief tour of the Majilis building.
