Bishkek, Nov. 11, 2023 / Kabar /. On November 10, as part of a working visit to Paris, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held negotiations with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.
Current areas of Kyrgyz-French cooperation, as well as prospects for further interaction, were discussed.
President Sadyr Zhaparov thanked Emmanuel Macron for the invitation to visit France and take part in the Paris Peace Forum, the first Summit on Glaciers and Poles - One Planet Summit, which is very timely.
During the conversation, the leaders expressed their readiness to build up bilateral relations and bring them to the level of partnership, including in the transport, trade and economic spheres.
The president of France noted the intensification of cooperation in such priority areas as energy as a positive example, especially highlighting the intention of the French companies Electricite de France and Total to work in Kyrgyzstan.
The parties emphasized the importance of continuing political dialogue to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation.
President Sadyr Zhaparov invited French President Emmanuel Macron to visit Kyrgyzstan. The invitation was gratefully accepted.
