Bishkek, Dec. 19, 2024. / Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov today, December 19, took part in the opening of a new building of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chui Oblast.
The head of state expressed hope that the new building will become an important milestone in the life of the national security agencies and creates all the conditions for effective work. He noted that the history of the formation of national security agencies begins in 1918, and the Department for Chui Oblast was established in 1991.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that, despite many years of successful work, the Department remained without its own administrative building for a long time, which complicated the implementation of tasks in full. The President also drew attention to the complicated history of the Directorate's placement: it was forced to move from one facility to another.
"Of course, despite these difficulties, the key functions of the Directorate - protecting the constitutional order, countering terrorism, counterintelligence activities, information and analytical analysis - were carried out without interruption," said Zhaparov.
The head of state noted that in 2022, he initiated the construction of a new building for the Directorate, and the implementation of the project was under the personal supervision of Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev. As a result, a modern building appeared that meets all standards, with a total area of 5,000 square meters, equipped with the necessary equipment to ensure comfortable working conditions.
The President expressed confidence that the opening of the new administrative building will improve the efficiency and quality of work of the State Committee for National Security employees, and also allow them to more effectively counter internal and external threats. He also congratulated all employees of the national security agencies on the upcoming professional holiday, wished them good health, well-being and success in their difficult work.
Then the head of state got acquainted with the infrastructure of the new building, visited a modern gym, an open-air workout area, and a canteen. In conclusion, Sadyr Zhaparov symbolically planted a spruce tree on the territory of the administration, emphasizing the significance of this event as a symbol of stability and development.
