Bishkek, Aug. 20, 2024. / Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today, August 20, received Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic Francois Delaus on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.
During the conversation, Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated Francois Delaus on the successful completion of the mission, noting his significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations between the countries, the press service of the head of state said.
The head of state emphasized that during the mission of Ambassador Francois Delaus, cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and France in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres has noticeably strengthened.
Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated the French side on the successful holding of the Summer Olympic Games, noting that this event was historic for the Kyrgyz people and state, as Kyrgyz athletes showed good results.
The president also noted the importance of attracting French investors to implement projects in the field of tourism and hydropower in order to further expand economic cooperation.
The head of state thanked the ambassador for assistance in developing joint educational projects and creating conditions for the education of Kyrgyz students in France. The president also expressed gratitude for the support for the dissemination of the French language in Kyrgyzstan and cultural exchange programs.
Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence that bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and France will continue to develop dynamically in areas of mutual interest.
Francois Delaus expressed gratitude to President Sadyr Zhaparov for the warm welcome and fruitful cooperation during his diplomatic mission. He noted that he sees great prospects in further strengthening relations between the two countries. François Delaus stressed the importance of continuing work in the areas that were noted by the President, and also expressed confidence that friendly relations between Kyrgyzstan and France will only strengthen.
