Bishkek, April 12, 2024 / Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov received today a delegation of the Franklin Templeton Global Investment and Financial Holding, led by Chief Investment Officer Manraj Sekhon.
An exchange of views took place on promising cooperation projects of mutual interest.
The head of state emphasized that Kyrgyzstan pays special attention to the development and strengthening of cooperation with international financial organizations and investors. The Kyrgyz side seeks to create favorable conditions for attracting investment and improving the business environment.
In turn, Manraj Sekhon spoke about his activities and also shared ideas for creating a National Welfare Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The purpose of this fund is to improve the management efficiency of state-owned enterprises, attract capital and strategic investments, as well as achieve other socio-economic indicators.
The fund will be listed on the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange and on one of the global platforms.
Following the meeting, the idea of creating a National Welfare Fund in the Kyrgyz Republic was supported by President Sadyr Zhaparov.
