Bishkek, Dec. 23, 2021 . / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received on Thursday credentials from ambassadors of several foreign countries accredited to the country, his press service reported.
Credentials were presented by Ambassadors of Switzerland Olivier Bangerter, Mongolia Ganhuyag Sodnom and Azerbaijan Latif Seifaddin ogly Gandilov.
Before the ceremony began, the heads of foreign diplomatic missions were greeted by a guard of honor.
During the bilateral meetings that Sadyr Zhaparov held with each diplomat after the ceremony of presenting credentials, they discussed the deepening of bilateral relations, strengthening of political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation, a significant increase in trade turnover and investment cooperation.

The Kyrgyz leader expressed readiness to intensify cooperation with the countries they represent in all areas of mutual interest within bilateral format and international organizations.
Zhaparov emphasized the importance of developing and deepening interstate political and cultural-humanitarian relations, as well as establishing direct trade and economic contacts and stimulating activities to attract foreign investment to Kyrgyzstan.
Swiss Ambassador Olivier Bangerter congratulated the Kyrgyz president on the fact that the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on the declaration of 2022 as the "International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development" initiated by Kyrgyzstan, as well as on the past parliamentary elections.

The ambassador noted Switzerland's readiness for close cooperation and allocation of $22 million for development programs in Kyrgyzstan.
Mongolian Ambassador Ganhuyag Sodnom conveyed warm words of greetings from President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, noted the high level of political contacts between the countries.

Stressing that Kyrgyzstan is a brotherly country in the Central Asian region, Ambassador Sodnom noted the readiness to expand relations in agriculture and light industry.
Azerbaijani Ambassador Latif Seyfaddin oglu Gandilov emphasized that the countries are united by a common history and cultural and spiritual heritage along the lines of ancient Turkic roots and the Soviet period.

At the end of the meetings, President Zhaparov once again noted Kyrgyzstan's interest in the development of good-neighborly relations, friendship and cooperation.
