Bishkek, June 14, 2024. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov today, June 14, received Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Kyrgyzstan Nikolai Udovichenko on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted with satisfaction that the period of the mission of the Russian ambassador coincided with important historical changes in Kyrgyzstan - the qualitative development of bilateral relations in the political, economic and cultural spheres.
The head of state stated that Kyrgyzstan and Russia actively interact in almost all spheres of life. Great results have been achieved in some areas.
The president emphasized that the result of active interaction between the two countries in the field of education was the construction of nine schools throughout the republic, the beginning of the process of reformatting the work of the Kyrgyz-Slavic University, the opening of a branch of Moscow State University in Karakol and the successfully implemented “Russian Teacher Abroad” program.
Sadyr Zhaparov emphasized that the same successes were noted in the trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and military-technical spheres of bilateral cooperation.
In turn, Ambassador Nikolai Udovichenko thanked President Sadyr Zhaparov for his high assessment of his work and noted that he had a deep sense of satisfaction with the achieved results of cooperation between the two countries.
He stated that in recent years all the prerequisites for dynamic economic and political development have been created in Kyrgyzstan, and expressed confidence that despite the difficult geopolitical conditions in the world, strategic cooperation between the two countries will only deepen in the future.
At the end of the meeting, President Sadyr Zhaparov awarded Nikolai Udovichenko a Certificate of Honor of the Kyrgyz Republic for his significant contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
