Bishkek, March 15, 2021 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov received Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States Baghdad Amreyev (CCTS, or Turkic Council).
The Kyrgyz president was pleased to stress that the Turkic Council has achieved good results since its establishment and has received the support of the international community.
He noted the active work of the CCTS in combating the coronavirus infection pandemic.
Sadyr Zhaparov also emphasized the importance of establishing the Turkic Council Investment Fund and accommodation of its office in Bishkek.
In turn, Baghdad Amreyev noted the successful results of Sadyr Zhaparov's state visits to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which, in his opinion, will contribute to the development and unity of the Turkic world.
The Turkic Council secretary general expressed readiness to provide full assistance in carrying out joint work in all areas of the agenda within the Turkic Council, including the issue of accommodation of the Turkic Council Investment Fund in Bishkek.
President Sadyr Zhaparov also emphasized the Kyrgyz side will continue to consistently work to strengthen brotherhood and friendship with Turkic-speaking countries, and confirmed his participation in the informal meeting of the Turkic Council Heads of State, which is planned to be held in the near future.
