Bishkek, March 25, 2021. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received Ambassador of Turkey to the Kyrgyz Republic Cengiz Kamil Firat on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country, the press service of the Kyrgyz president said.
An exchange of views took place on the priorities of bilateral relations, measures to increase trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of previously planned projects.
The head of state noted with satisfaction the contribution of Cengiz Kamil Firat to the intensification of joint cooperation and the development of the Kyrgyz-Turkish political dialogue.
Sadyr Zhaparov expressed readiness to bring the level of bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level, since Turkey for Kyrgyzstan is not only a strategic partner, but also a fraternal country.
The president noted that the Kyrgyz side focuses on the implementation of projects aimed at expanding industrial interaction, developing public-private partnerships, creating joint ventures, cooperation in the agricultural sector, textile, mining, hydropower and other areas.
The Turkish ambassador stressed that during his diplomatic activity in Kyrgyzstan, good conditions were created for him for fruitful work.
He noted with satisfaction the level of strategic partnership that has developed between the countries and recalled the upcoming international events with the participation of the heads of the two states, including the informal summit of the CCTS and the meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
The Turkish ambassador wished Zhaparov success in carrying out political reforms in the country and activities to improve the welfare of the population.
