Sadyr Zhaparov receives Uzbek ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev

Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2024. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov received Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev on the occasion of the presentation of his credentials and congratulated him on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.

The presidential press service reported that the head of state expressed satisfaction with the high level of interstate relations between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, which demonstrate sustainable development dynamics in various areas.

Sadyr Zhaparov expressed confidence in the implementation of all agreements reached during his state visit to Uzbekistan in July of this year, including the establishment of the Supreme Interstate Council, which will contribute to the further development of a comprehensive strategic partnership.

In the context of economic cooperation, Sadyr Zhaparov noted the growth in mutual trade volumes, the expansion of the range of goods and the strengthening of export-import relations. He emphasized the importance of creating joint ventures and implementing major investment projects, including in the energy and transport sectors.

In turn, Ambassador Saidikram Niyazhodjaev expressed gratitude for the reception, conveyed greetings and good wishes on behalf of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

He emphasized that the state visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Uzbekistan opened a new page in the history of cooperation between the two countries, gave a powerful impetus to the development of bilateral ties and the further strengthening of friendship, mutual understanding and good neighborliness.

The ambassador of Uzbekistan noted that following the high-level meetings, tasks were set to bring mutual trade turnover to two billion US dollars, as well as joint implementation of investment projects in the field of energy, transport, tourism and regional cooperation.

Saidikram Niyazhodjaev assured President Sadyr Zhaparov that he would make every effort to implement the agreements of the heads of the two states, and would also actively work on strategic initiatives aimed at the benefit of the two countries and peoples.
