Bishkek, Nov. 14, 2020 / Kabar /. Acting President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov submitted a package of documents to the Central Election Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic for nominating his candidacy for the post of president of the Kyrgyz Republic, his press service said.
The early presidential elections are scheduled for Jan. 10, 2021.
Ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov resigned on Oct. 15 amid protests in Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier, 35 people submitted applications to the CEC to nominate themselves for the post of president of the Kyrgyz Republic.
