Sadyr Zhaparov takes part in informal meeting of CIS leaders in Russia

Bishkek, Dec. 27, 2023. / Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov took part in an informal meeting of leaders of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States in St. Petersburg.

The informal meeting of the heads of state of the CIS began at the museum with a guided tour through the famous palace and park areas of the Pavlovsk nature reserve; the leaders visited Tsarskoye Selo and Peterhof.

The introductory tour was attended by Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

Then, the leaders of the CIS countries headed to the Konstantinovsky Palace.

Vladimir Putin delivered a welcoming speech, expressing gratitude to everyone for the fact that the heads of state accepted the invitation and came to St. Petersburg for the traditional informal pre-New Year meeting.
