Sadyr Zhaparov to attend summit of Central Asian leaders in Dushanbe

Bishkek, Sept. 13, 2023. / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will pay a working visit to Dushanbe to take a part in a Fifth Consultative Meeting of Heads of State of Central Asia, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiyev said Wednesday.

Thus, Zhaparov will attend the meeting of Central Asian leaders at the invitation of his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon.

During the visit, the Kyrgyz leader will hold bilateral talks with President Rahmon.

"The upcoming Fifth Consultative Meeting of Heads of Central Asian States in Dushanbe is expected to be aimed at discussing topical issues of multilateral cooperation, as well as prospects for regional cooperation," Azymbakiyev added.
