Sadyr Zhaparov to make working visit to Azerbaijan

Bishkek, July 4, 2024. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will make a working visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan on July 5-6, head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Muratbek Azymbakiev told.

He said that the Kyrgyz president will take part in an informal summit of the heads of countries participating in the Organization of Turkic States. The theme of the extraordinary meeting of the heads of state of the Organization is “Transport, communications and ensuring the formation of a sustainable future through climate action.”

“The parties will discuss collective response measures to disasters caused by natural phenomena, climate change and strengthening transport connectivity of the member countries of the OTS.

The heads of the member states of the Organization - the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the heads of government of the Republic of Turkey and Hungary - will take part in the Summit,” said Muratbek Azymbakiev.
