Sadyr Zhaparov to take part in Central Asian countries-China online summit

Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2022 . / Kabar / . President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will participate in a collective online meeting to be held on Tuesday between heads of Central Asian countries and China on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.

The online summit “Central Asian countries and China”, initiated by the Chinese side will be attended by Presidents of China Xi Jinping, Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The sides will exchange views on a wide range of interaction between the countries of Central Asia and China, as well as further development of multifaceted cooperation.

The online summit will result in the adoption of a Joint Statement of the heads of state of Central Asia and China on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

China was among the first to recognize the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic.

On Jan. 5, 1992 the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China was signed.
