Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2023. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov will make a working visit to New York City (USA) on September 17-21 to participate in the events of the High-Level Week of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Muratbek Azymbakiev said.
“On September 18, the head of state will take part in the UN Summit, Leaders’ Dialogue Summit on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
On September 19, just like last year, Sadyr Zhaparov’s speech will take place on the first day of general debates of the UN General Assembly.
On the same day, the Kyrgyz President and the President of the United States of America, John Biden, are expected to attend the first Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
In addition, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, the head of state will meet with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, administrator of the UN Development Program Akim Steiner, heads of a number of foreign states and international financial institutions.
On September 21, Sadyr Zhaparov will speak at the Kyrgyz-American business forum with representatives of a number of large US companies, during which a presentation is organized on the economic potential of Kyrgyzstan and the investment opportunities of the country,” said Muratbek Azymbakiev.
