Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2023. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, as part of a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, visited the new sculpture of the young man “Zhash Manaschy”, installed on the territory of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Germany in the center of Berlin.
Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany Omurbek Tekebaev said that the sculpture was made of iron cast by Kyrgyz craftsmen on the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
“Zhash Manaschy” personifies the national code of the Kyrgyz people. He is dressed in traditional Kyrgyz clothes and the national headdress, symbolizing the history and traditions of our people. The age of the young man 10-12 years old symbolizes the youth and spirit of the Kyrgyz people.
In addition, there is a sign with a QR code. That is, anyone with the help of a special program can learn a lot about the sculptural composition, as well as listen to excerpts from the Manas epic.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted with satisfaction the appearance of this sculpture at the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing that the figure “Zhash Manaschy” reflects the freedom, energy and strength of the Kyrgyz people. It will be a symbol of national pride and our identity, which reminds us of the importance of preserving cultural heritage and traditions, as well as the need to pass them on to future generations.
