Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2023 / Kabar /. The working visit of President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov to the city of Dushanbe, which took place today, September 14, at the invitation of President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, ended.
During the visit, President Sadyr Zhaparov held bilateral negotiations with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, where the parties discussed current issues of Kyrgyz-Tajik bilateral cooperation, a wide range of topics, including issues of delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border.
Then the head of state took part in the Fifth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
Following the results of the Fifth Consultative Meeting, the leaders of the countries adopted a Joint Statement.
In addition, signed:
- Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan on the general directions of youth policy;
- Agreement on strengthening the interconnectedness of land transport in Central Asia.
