Bishkek, Feb. 22, 2024. /Kabar/. The working visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to the Russian Federation (Republic of Tatarstan), which took place on February 20-21, has ended.
As part of his working visit to Kazan, the head of state held talks with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The leaders of the countries noted the high dynamics of cooperation between states and confirmed their mutual commitment to deepening Kyrgyz-Russian relations.
President Sadyr Zhaparov also met with head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan and indicated their readiness to further develop partnership relations.
Following the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov awarded Sadyr Zhaparov the Order of Duslyk for his significant contribution to the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan, strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between the two peoples.
In addition, as part of this visit, the opening of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazan took place.
On February 21, Sadyr Zhaparov, together with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahman, took part in the opening ceremony of the international multi-sport tournament Games of the Future.
Having completed his working visit, President Sadyr Zhaparov returned to Bishkek n February 22 early morning.
