Osh, March 2, 2021. / Kabar /. According to the second phase of the “Safe City” project, preparations are underway in Dzhalal-Abad town of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast to install video surveillance.
Deputy Mayor of the town Nurtilek Orozbayev together with representatives of the company and relevant agencies inspected the streets where video surveillance will be installed.
Video cameras will be installed in 12 streets of the town, and video observation is planned to be installed in 48 locations across Dzhalal-Abad Oblast to detect violations of traffic laws.
The "Safe City" project aims to reduce mortality and the number of accidents on the roads of Kyrgyzstan. The project is divided into two main phases, where in the first phase it is planned to cover part of the intersections of Bishkek, as well as roads of Chui Oblast. The second stage will already cover all oblasts of the country, as well as major population centers.
