Bishkek, Dec. 10, 2020 / Kabar /. Director of the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Interethnic Relations (SALFGIR) under the Government of Kyrgyzstan Bakhtiyar Saliev met with head of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Central Asia, Dr. Max Georg Mayer, the state agency reported.
During the meeting, the director of the Agency stressed that the most important goal of cooperation is to strengthen local self-government in Kyrgyzstan, improve the skills of human resources of municipal employees.
In addition, an agreement was reached to sign a memorandum of cooperation for the coming years. Within the framework of the program, the Agency, together with the Fund, conducts trainings for employees of aiyl okmotu, executive secretaries, as well as deputies of local councils. At the meeting, further cooperation and plans for working with local self-government bodies for 2021 were discussed.
