Sambo wrestlers from neighboring states to arrive in Bishkek to determine the strongest

Bishkek, Jan. 28, 2019. /Kabar/. An international tournament in Sambo, in memory of the peacekeeping soldier, Knight of the Order of the Red Star Vitaly Gordeev will be held at the Palace of Sports named after Kojomkul Kab uulu.

The competitions will also be devoted to the 30th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.

About 300 athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are expected to take part in the competition, which will be held on February 8-9.

18 sets of medals in weight categories: up to 52 kg, 57 kg, up to 62 kg, up to 68 kg, up to 74 kg, up to 82 kg, up to 90 kg, up to 100 kg and over 100 kg will be provided.
