The Sanarip Aimak automated system should be fully operational by the end of 2020, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov told at a meeting devoted to discussion the results of work on the digitalization of the country in the first half of the year.

The State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic said that the Sanarip Aimak system has been introduced in 176 rural governments.

“The introduction of Sanarip Aimak system will increase the efficiency of local self-government activities, as well as automate the provision of services to the population. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the implementation of the system in cities and rural governments. To implement the project, it is necessary to provide rural administrations with routers as soon as possible,” the Head of Government said.

During the meeting, the issues of the digitalization of educational and medical institutions were discussed.

According to data of the Ministry of Education and Science, 99% of schools are connected to the Internet.

The prime minister noted that in the context of a pandemic and in connection with distance learning of schoolchildren, it is necessary to pay special attention to the availability and quality of the Internet in the regions.

“With the beginning of the school year, the villages should not have problems associated with the lack of the Internet. In this direction, the relevant state bodies need to carry out intensive work. Strengthen efforts to provide schools with high-quality, high-speed Internet. A number of digitalization works have been implemented in the healthcare sector. It is necessary to fully implement measures for the introduction of information technologies in medical institutions,” Kubatbek Boronov said.

During the meeting, the activities of state bodies on digitalization issues were considered, the heads of a number of departments were given instructions.

The main purpose of the Sanarip Amak system is to increase the efficiency of local government bodies and automate the work of specialists in the field of providing public services to the population. The system is scheduled to be launched at 484 rural governments.
