Bishkek, Jan. 12, 2022. / Kabar /. The Center for State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance of Bishkek recommended public and private enterprises to hold meetings in an online format, according to the capital's mayor's office.
Such recommendations were made in connection with the increase in the number of infected people, the tense sanitary and epidemiological situation in the capital and the detection of the omicron variant.
The omicron strain is believed to be far more contagiousis, rapid spread among the population and a shortened incubation period, the report said.
The Mayor's Office of Bishkek asks residents to take precautions: to refrain from attending public events, keep a distance, wear masks, wash their hands and ventilate the room more often, use an antiseptic and get vaccinated.
