Sanitary quarantine posts will remain in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 10, 2020 / Kabar/. Sanitary quarantine posts will be preserved in Bishkek, First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov told on Sunday.

He noted that from May 11 the state of emergency will be lifted in the country. However, the emergency situation regime, which was introduced before the state of emergency, will continue to operate throughout the republic. Also, in the cities of Bishkek, Osh, At-Bashi region of Naryn Oblast and in Kanysh-Kiya village of Chatkal region of Jalal-Abad Oblas quarantine regime will be continued.

The first vice prime minister noted that all specialties that are not so much in demand in offices are also recommended to work remotely. “We also recommend that all entrepreneurs make such decisions. We must also comply with all sanitary standards and relevant requirements to prevent further infection with COVID-19,” he said.

The emergency situation regime was introduced in Kyrgyzstan on March 22, later a state of emergency was imposed with curfew in some cities and regions of the country on March 25 due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
