Bishkek, Aug. 24, 2017 / Kabar /. Sapar Isakov, the chief of the President’s Office met with UNICEF representative in Kyrgyzstan Yukie Mokuo and the head of the innovation department of UNICEF Chris Fabian, the Kyrgyz government’s press service reported.
Sapar Isakov said that Kyrgyzstan highly appreciates the activities of the organization and the ongoing projects implementing in the country have positive impact on the sphere of protection of children’s rights.
“We positively appreciate long -term and fruitful cooperation and the assistance providing in developing and realization of joint projects on protection of children’s rights in Kyrgyzstan. We can note successful realization of UNICEF country programme in the field of health protection of a mother and a child, vaccination and vitaminization, children’s access to education services and reduction of child poverty," Isakov said.
Yukie Mokuo emphasized the importance of further fruitful cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the organization.
During the meeting the sides discussed the topical issues of interaction.
