Sapar Isakov discuss prospects for cooperation in sphere of health care with representatives of Japan's Tokuda Foundation

Bishkek, Apr. 5, 2018. / Kabar /. Prime Minister Sapar Isakov met with Mari Tokuda, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tokuda Public Foundation (Japan). Ambassador of Japan to Kyrgyzstan Yoshihiro Yamamura also took part in the meeting. The sides discussed prospects for joint cooperation in the field of health.

The Kyrgyz Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the Tokuda Foundation for providing hemodialysis devices to the Naryn Regional Hospital. He said that this assistance is very important for the citizens of the country.

The Prime Minister stressed that the Government will continue to pay special attention to the prevention of kidney diseases and to improve citizens' access to quality medical services.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tokuda Public Foundation Mari Tokuda expressed readiness to deepen further cooperation on the issues raised during the meeting.

The Prime Minister informed Mari Tokuda that for timely assistance in the field of healthcare, as well as contribution to the strengthening of friendship and cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Japan, it was decided to award her father, the chairman of the Board of the Tokushukai Medical Corporation Group of Medical Institutions "Tora Tokuda and the Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Japan Masaharu Mizusako honorary diplomas of the Kyrgyz Government.
