Saudi ambassador to Kyrgyzstan participates in humanitarian deliveries transfer ceremony

Bishkek, May 20, 2022. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan Abdulrahman bin Saeed Al-Jumah took part in a ceremony to hand over a humanitarian deliveries from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, the Saudi Embassy in Kyrgyzstan said.

The cargo of 25 tons of dates was handed over to the Ministry of Labor of Kyrgyzstan for distribution to homes of the elderly, orphanages, the poor and orphans. Each person will be given 2 kg of dates.

This project is implemented through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre as one of the Center's humanitarian projects provided to a number of friendly and fraternal countries, one of which is the Kyrgyz Republic. The project aims to support needy families in Kyrgyzstan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Saudi Arabian Abdulrahman bin Saeed Al-Jumah noted the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and the Kyrgyz Republic through various assistance in the form of grants and loans to help implement many projects in the areas of transportation, health, education, water supply, irrigation, charity and humanitarian activities.

More than USD 200 million or 750 million Saudi rials were allocated through the Saudi Fund for Development for the implementation of projects in the field of education, reconstruction of roads, medicine, social development in a number of regions and cities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
