The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has paid the greatest attention to Hajj and Umrah since the unification of the country by the founder King Abdul Aziz Al Saud - may God have mercy on him -, and the succession of his sons after him in power, each of them put the service of pilgrims and Umrah performers and take care of the affairs of the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Medina in mind, where the state allocated a ministry concerned with Hajj and Umrah affairs and the organization of sectors and departments working in this field.
The state, through the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, has prepared a package of smart systems that facilitate the pilgrims of Hajj, represented in the electronic path system for pilgrims abroad, which is an integrated system from the beginning of the work of mandatory contracts such as housing, transportation and subsistence, until the departure of pilgrims, as the electronic path system and its contents of contracts provide transparency and the supervisory ability to follow up on implementation and the extent of each party's commitment to implementing its responsibilities under the supervision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The electronic path system for domestic pilgrims relies on systems and data in an advanced electronic portal to display the various service programs offered by companies and institutions of domestic pilgrims.
With regard to pilgrims abroad, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has facilitated the procedures of pilgrims abroad and adopted a methodology based on transparency, as it requires the procedures of pilgrims abroad, including the signing of agreements on arrangements for the Hajj season between the delegations of countries and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, in accordance with the controls and conditions committed by each party, and has equipped the electronic path system for pilgrims abroad and the registration of service providers in the Kingdom of housing, transportation, subsistence, services of institutions of the heads of sects.
Mandatory contracts of housing, subsistence and others have also been implemented between representatives of pilgrims from Hajj affairs offices and tourism companies with service providers and performance quality control, and after completing the contracts, pilgrims' data is entered and sent to the concerned authorities to issue Hajj visas.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque is also working to provide services to visitors to enable them to perform religious rites in a safe and pure environment, where the presidency provides through its website many services that can be viewed, and the presidency has allocated on its website a special part for the Grand Mosque and another for the Prophet's Mosque to enable visitors to see the facilities of mosques and the services that are available in each of them.
And on the side of volunteering in Hajj, The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has dedicated on its website the page "Be Help", which is an initiative concerned with volunteering during the Hajj period, in order to organize the volunteering process, achieve the maximum benefit from the efforts of volunteers and ensure the quality of volunteer services for pilgrims, in the areas where volunteering is available, such as receiving and bidding farewell to the pilgrims, guidance and guidance, translation and medical volunteering, environmental volunteering, media volunteering - new media, in addition to the applications provided by the state of Hajj and Umrah on smart devices that provide services. Electronic through smart device applications, and the most important of these applications, including: Hajj services, Umrah services, Manaskana application, and the application of reading bracelets for pilgrims and Umrah performers.
On the security side, the Ministry of Interior has strengthened its forces from the leaders of the Hajj security forces in Makkah Al-Mukarramah through the development of security, traffic and organizational plans for the Hajj season, as it stressed that the security of the homeland is a red line, the security of pilgrims is a red line, and the security of feelings is a red line, and the Hajj security forces will stand firmly against everything that affects the breach of security or order and prevent all actions affecting the security and safety of the pilgrims.
One of the tasks and responsibilities of the Hajj security forces is to intensify the field security presence in order to speed up the monitoring of all types of cases and security observations, respond quickly with appropriate measures in this regard, take preventive measures to prevent crime, combat pickpocketing, and any negative phenomena that affect the security and safety of pilgrims, and balance traffic in security control centers at the entrances to the city of Makkah and the holy sites and the roads leading to them .
The Special Emergency Forces of the Presidency of State Security are working to maintain security and order in Mecca, Medina and the holy capital, ensure protection for the Kingdom's guests, prevent violators of Hajj regulations from reaching the feelings, manage crowd movement, organize the throwing of embers in accordance with security plans and manage crowds in the southern square of the Grand Mosque in Mecca.
Meanwhile, the security aviation is working on reconnaissance flights to ensure the flow of traffic for pilgrims, ensure the safety of roads leading to the holy sites from unauthorized infiltrators of Hajj, support the security sectors in their tasks, and support humanitarian services in medical evacuation, rescue and firefighting work.
In addition, the Hajj Civil Defense is working to intensify preventive supervision work in the capital, the holy sites and Medina in terms of implementing and applying the preventive and awareness aspects, operational aspects, providing humanitarian services, managing the situation through the Al-Mashaer Operations Center, activating the role of volunteers in the Holy Capital and the holy sites, supporting the Haram forces, and cooperating with government agencies.
On the railway side, the Saudi Railways "SAR" announced the readiness of the Holy Sites Train to serve the pilgrims to start the actual operation of the Hajj season for the year 1445 AH, which starts on the morning of the seventh Thursday of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, provided that it begins with the transfer of pilgrims from Mina to Arafat on the evening of the eighth day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah.
During the last period, the Holy Sites Train witnessed preparatory operation work, which witnessed the conduct of 7852 train trips, while four complete simulations of the Hajj season were conducted in order to test the readiness of the train to serve the pilgrims and facilitate their movements between the holy sites, as this came after the start of the experiments in two phases: the first, which lasted a full month, during which systems, equipment and trains were tested, while the second phase, which lasted sixty days, during which the trains were tested. Gradually to reach full readiness through the full operation simulated to operate the Hajj season.
It conducted maintenance and testing operations for the readiness of the Holy Sites Train and its stations, by applying the highest safety standards and quality requirements to ensure that the train operates between nine stations distributed in the Holy Sites (three in each of the Hajj sites in Arafat, Muzdalifah and Mina, the last stations of which reach the fourth floor of the Jamarat Bridge).The

One of the most prominent services provided by the Ministry of Health in the Hajj season to the pilgrims is preventive medicine and public health services, where the Ministry of Health focuses at the top of its priorities on the preventive aspects of pilgrims, and follows up on developments and changes that occur in the health situation globally in cooperation and coordination with the World Health Organization and international health bodies such as the International Centers for Disease Control.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has also intensified its efforts and services provided to the pilgrims by expanding air traffic, in addition to the most important initiatives and qualitative programs provided at the Kingdom's airports in serving the pilgrims, which come within the objectives of the sector's strategy, including: The "Makkah Road" initiative implemented by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the relevant authorities and aims to facilitate the procedures for pilgrims to come to the Kingdom, by completing all arrival procedures before pilgrims leave their countries, including customs and passport procedures, and their contribution In reducing waiting times and improving the flow of pilgrims at airports, benefiting more than 240,000 pilgrims, the "Baggageless Travel Initiative" that enables pilgrims to complete their travel procedures and baggage, receive baggage tags and board the plane from their residences, in addition to the "Zamzam Package Pre-Loading Initiative" aimed at pre-loading Zamzam packages on transit flights.
Finally, the Saudi Jawazat announced the arrival of (1,547,295) pilgrims from outside the Kingdom through international ports until the end of Monday 4/12/1445 AH, during the Hajj season for this year through all the Kingdom's air, land and sea ports.
