Bishkek, March 18, 2021. / Kabar /. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will provide aid to Kyrgyzstan in the form of medical equipment worth $500,000, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan Abdurahman bin Saeed Al-Juma said during a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.
The meeting took place on Thursday on the occasion of completion of the ambassador’s diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan.
Abdurahman bin Saeed Al-Juma said Saudi Arabia supports the opening of direct air links between the two countries, and also informed about the transfer in the near future of medical equipment worth about $ 500, 000 to the Kyrgyz Government in assistance.
President Sadyr Zhaparov noted the personal contribution of Abdurahman bin Saeed Al-Juma as the first ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan in achieving the current level of bilateral cooperation: the countries have established strong political relations and are actively working to increase cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
In conclusion, for his significant contribution to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries, President Sadyr Zhaparov awarded Abdurahman bin Saeed Al-Juma the country’s state award - the Order of Danaker.
