Saudi company to install solar panels on roofs of government buildings in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2024 /Kabar/. A meeting was held in Bishkek between Minister of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic Taalaibek Ibraev and CEO of the Saudi company FAS Energy Turki Alhokayr.

According to the Energy Ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues of interstate energy cooperation, the energy potential of Kyrgyzstan, joint implementation of projects, and exchange of experience in the use of modern technologies.

In addition, Minister Taalaibek Ibraev and CEO of FAS Energy Turki Alhokayr signed a memorandum to deepen further cooperation.

The main goal of this memorandum is to install solar panels on the roofs of houses and buildings where state-owned enterprises are located.

The event was also attended by Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov and relevant employees of both sides.
