Bishkek, April 24, 2023. /Kabar/. The Saudi Development Fund will allocate USD 130 million for the construction of affordable housing in Kyrgyzstan and finance the IV phase of the Suusamyr-Talas-Taraz road reconstruction project, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
Loan agreements for two projects were signed in Bishkek during the visit of a Saudi Development Fund delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic from 23 to 24 April.
The projects are aimed at providing citizens in need with affordable housing, as well as the reconstruction of a 92.9-kilometer section of the road in the Talas region.
The documents were signed by Minister of Finance Almaz Baketaev and Executive Director of the fund Sultan Al-Marshad.
The terms of the loan agreement are not specified.
