Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov met Deputy Chairman of the Board, Executive Director of the Saudi Fund for Development Khalid Bin Sulaiman Al Khudairi in the framework of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that during the conversation, the sides expressed satisfaction with the expansion of credit and grant cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Saudi Arabia, and also exchanged views on the stages of consideration of infrastructure projects submitted by the Kyrgyz side to the Fund.
In particular, Executive Director Khalid Bin Sulaiman Al Khudairi said that at present the Fund has approved a number of projects in the field of health, education, agricultural, irrigation sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic worth $ 30 million. In addition, the Saudi side assured that in 2019 it is planned to increase funding for projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
