Schools and kindergartens in Issyk-Kul scheduled to open next week

Bishkek, Jan. 5, 2021. /Kabar/. Schools and pre-school educational institutions are scheduled to open on Jan. 11, Deputy Director of Karakol Sanitary and Epidemic Control Center Kulushkan Tailakova said.

She noted the decision of Issyk-Kul Oblast Headquarters depends on the epidemiological situation.

"The switch of schools to offline mode depends on the epidemiological situation. At present, the number of people infected with COVID-19, as well as patients has decreased. “Red zones” in centers of joint practice in Issyk-Kul Oblast’s Dzheti-Oguz region, Ananyevo village, Ton Regional Hospital are already closed down. But, in spite of this, it is necessary to comply with all sanitary and hygienic norms and rules. Kindergartens must comply with the regulations on the number of children in groups," she said.

Tailakova stressed higher educational institutions, colleges and specialized secondary educational institutions will work in the normal mode after the publication of the relevant document of the Ministries of Education and Health.
