Tashkent, March 11, 2021 / Kabar /. A science was born in Uzbekistan – aitmatology. Dozens of researchers conduct scientific research on the works of the great writer Chingiz Aitmatov, academician of the Academy of Chingiz Aitmatov, director of the permanent exhibition "Chingiz Aitmatov and Uzbekistan", well-known Uzbek publicist Akhmadzhon Meliboev told on Wednesday at the round table “Works of Aitmatov in the study of Uzbek scientists”.
He said that the great writer and public figure Chingiz Aitmatov was a great friend not only of the Kyrgyz people, but also of all Turkic countries, including the Uzbek people. Aitmatov selflessly worked for the peace and tranquility of the region, its future and prosperity, strengthening friendship and solidarity between peoples, protecting them from various threats and challenges.
“Today, when a new era begins in the history of relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the immortal artistic heritage of Chingiz Aitmatov is becoming an even more important guide for our peoples. His masterpieces aimed at strengthening the ideas of humanism and goodness, national and universal human values, mutual respect and solidarity between different nations and peoples never lose their relevance,” Meliboev noted.
The permanent exhibition "Chingiz Aitmatov and Uzbekistan" at the National University of Uzbekistan was created in 2018 by a special decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in honor of the 90th anniversary of the great writer.
Chingiz Aitmatov is a world famous great Kyrgyz writer. He died in 2008.
