Scientists of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan to cooperate in development of animal husbandry

Tashkent, April 22, 2021. / Kabar /. A meeting of delegations of Osh State University of Kyrgyzstan and State Committee for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock of Uzbekistan is held in Tashkent, head of the laboratory “Cattle breeding” of the State Committee, candidate of agricultural sciences Khusan Giyasov told Kabar Agency.

The sides discussed the priority areas of joint research in the field of animal husbandry.

Particular attention was paid to the creation of new breeds of cattle and small ruminants, the joint use of pastures in Kyrgyzstan, the training of scientific personnel and specialists in scientific centers and universities of Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, an Agreement on Cooperation was signed between Osh State University and the Scientific Research Institute of Livestock and Poultry of Uzbekistan.
