SCO secretary general invited to attend CIS summit in Bishkek

Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Zhang Ming has been invited to attend a meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, CIS Secretary General Sergei Lebedev told reporters, BelTA has learned.

"We maintain good contacts with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. As the CIS Secretary General, I regularly meet with Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Zhang Ming," Sergei Lebedev said. “Our next meeting is scheduled for 27 September, in Beijing. Mr Zhang Ming has been also invited to attend a meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council in Bishkek on 13 October.
