Bishkek, Feb. 13 / Kabar /. SDPK (Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan) has not discussed yet the candidate for presidency, deputy chairman of the SDPK party Torobay Zulpukarov told Kabar Agency.
Today local media reported that SDPK party nominates Kubanychbek Kulmatov, the chairman of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund to post of president of the country.
Nevertheless, Zulpukarov denied this information saying that the party has not discussed this issue.
"I have no such information. We haven’t discussed this topic yet," he said.
Recall that incumbent President Almazbek Atambayev’s presidential terms will be ended in December 2017. For todate three candidates expressed their intentions to run for presidency. They are former MP Adakhan Madumarov, leader of Onuguu-Progress party Bakyt Torobaev, former Prime Minister Temir Sariyev.
SDPK is the ruling party in Kyrgyzstan.
