Search for missing shepherd continues in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan. 11, 2025. / Kabar /. The search for a missing shepherd in the Nooken district of the Jalal-Abad region continues.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that today 57 people, 4 drones and satellite communications are involved in the search.

Of these, 36 are rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 15 are employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 6 people from among local residents.

A resident of the city of Tash-Kumyr (born in 1978) went to the Suttu-Bulak pasture to graze cattle and disappeared on December 15, 2024. Search operations have been ongoing since December 17.

The search is under the personal control of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Boobek Azhikeev, the report said.
