Second column of buses with over 1000 Kyrgyzstanis arrived from Russia

Bishkek, Aug. 7, 2020 /Kabar/. The second column of 23 buses with 1356 Kyrgyz citizens arrived Friday from Russia, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

Thus, on Aug. 7, 2020 a total of 2,456 Kyrgyzstanis have been returned to their homeland from the cities of Orenburg and Sol-Iletsk, as well as Buzuluk city of Orenburg Region, Russia.

The return of Kyrgyz citizens from Russia has been worked out in pursuance to the instructions of President and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic thanks to the transit corridor provided by the Kazakh side through the territory of Kazakhstan.

The Foreign Ministry once again reminds that the entry of foreign nationals into Kazakhstan is restricted due to the situation related to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

At the same time, the ministry informs that, in accordance with the decision of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, in order to prevent another congestion of compatriots at the border points of the Russian-Kazakh state border, the number of charter flights from Russia to Kyrgyzstan, departing from Moscow, Novosibirsk and Yekaterinburg on a regular basis has been significantly increased.
