Second EU-CA Economic Forum to take place in Kazakhstan

Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Second European Union-Central Asia Economic Forum will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan, Head of the Presidential Administration, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov said during the First European Union-Central Asia Economic Forum in Bishkek.

He added that the Forum will be held annually, alternately in each of the capitals of the participating countries.

"In its turn, the Secretariat of the Forum will be organized in Bishkek and will monitor the results of the First Forum and coordinate the work of subsequent ones," Zhaparov said.

Bishkek hosts the First European Union-Central Asia Economic Forum in Bishkek. In 2019 the EU and the foreign ministers of the Central Asian countries agreed to hold the First EU-CA Economic Forum.

The main topics of this Forum will be the economic recovery after COVID-19, as well as issues of the business environment and digitalization.
