Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2021 . / Kabar / The Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek hosted on Wednesday the second Kyrgyz-Pakistan business forum entitled “Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan in the Age of Socio-Economic Integration”.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that the event was held at the initiative of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Pakistan in partnership with the University of Lahore, with the support of the Ministry of Investment of Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Economy, the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The purpose of the forum was to familiarize the Pakistani business delegation with investment and trade-economic opportunities of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the establishment of targeted contacts and development of a partnership network through B2B meetings between the business community of both countries.
During the opening of the forum, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan Ulanbek Totuyayev, Ambassador of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan Sardar Tarik, Chairman of Lahore University Awais Raoof, and member of the National Assembly of Pakistan Muhammad Afzal Dhandla made a solemn speech.
The forum was attended by representatives of major Pakistani companies such as Marhaba Laboratories, Onsole, FM Foods, Jan Plastic Industry, Brizane group of companies, Bahria Town, "Hac Agri, Miles Textile, Agha Textiles, Medisearch Pharmaceuticals, Revco Pharma, Best Trans PVT LTD, TERAFORT Limited, Spartans Global (Pvt) Ltd and others, as well as representatives of Kyrgyz business circles.
During the event, heads of relevant ministries and departments of the Kyrgyz Republic made a presentations.
In addition, a panel discussion was organized, during which the participants of the event were able to get answers to their questions.
In conclusion, thematic platforms (on pharmaceuticals and medicine, information technology, agriculture, textiles and trade) were presented to business representatives of the two countries to establish contacts between business circles of the two countries.
